Job summary

Simply Education Ltd in Winsford is seeking a compassionate SEND Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons to small groups of learners with SEND and SEMH needs in an Alternative Provision.

You will teach Maths Functional Skills, helping students develop practical maths skills for progress and daily life, while focusing on relationships, emotional regulation and resilience. QTS is required and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and passionate SEND Teacher to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Winsford on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a SEND Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons to small groups of learners with a range of SEND and SEMH needs.

You will also teach Maths Functional Skills, helping students develop practical Maths skills that support both their academic progress and everyday lives.

You do not need previous experience as a SEND Teacher or in Alternative Provision. What matters most is your attitude, patience and genuine commitment to helping young people succeed.

The Teaching Role

You will be working within a structured and highly supportive Alternative Provision, where every Teacher and member of staff plays a vital role in helping learners rediscover their love of learning, build confidence and realise their potential.

Lessons are carefully adapted to meet individual needs, with a strong focus on relationships, communication, emotional regulation and rebuilding confidence in learning.
