TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teacher with QTS to support pupils with SEMH needs in Bristol. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships and adapt teaching to help learners overcome barriers.

Starting in January 2027, with a long-term role and potential permanency, you’ll join a supportive team and access CPD courses through My-Progression. Competitive PAYE payments apply.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH.
• Patient, adaptable and confident managing challenging behaviour.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils needing emotional support.
• Creative and flexible approach to teaching.
• Passionate about inclusive education and helping every pupil succeed.

What will you be doing?

As a SEND teacher, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils with SEMH needs, creating a positive and structured learning environment where they can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:
