Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teacher with QTS to support pupils with SEMH needs in Bristol. The role offers a long-term placement with the potential to become permanent and daily pay of £150–£230.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships with pupils and work closely with support staff to overcome barriers to learning in a positive, inclusive classroom.

What will you be doing?

As a SEND teacher, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils with SEMH needs, creating a positive and structured learning environment where they can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health challenges

Building trusting relationships and encouraging positive behaviour

Creating a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Adapting teaching approaches to help pupils overcome barriers to learning

Working collaboratively with support staff and other education professionals

Celebrating progress in both learning and personal development
