Salary: MPS to UPS - £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (depending on experience)

Mana Education is supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Peterborough, seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join in September. This is a permanent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

About the School:

This diverse school caters to students aged 11-18, committed to inclusive education, academic achievement, and whole-child development. It offers excellent facilities, a supportive leadership team, and a respectful, resilient ethos.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver tailored lessons for pupils with SEND (mild to moderate learning needs).
  2. Develop and track progress of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  3. Collaborate with the SENCO, support staff, and teachers for inclusive access to the curriculum.
  4. Build positive relationships with students and families.
  5. Maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or substantial SEND teaching experience in UK schools.
  • Knowledge of SEND including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties.
  • Ability to differentiate and implement EHCPs effectively.
  • Patience, resilience, and empathy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
