Your new role

In your new job as an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, sensory-focused lessons to primary-aged pupils with a range of needs, including Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This school provides a bespoke, pupil-centred curriculum for pupils aged 5 - 11. Hays Teachers make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with diverse care needs, life experiences, and personalities, making every day different! You’ll benefit from ongoing support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will help you find placements that match your skills and needs.

What you need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you’ll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a minimum of 1 year's experience teaching in a SEND environment. You are someone who loves taking on challenges and enjoys adapting to new situations. You’ll have supported pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. Most importantly, you’ll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to support pupils with a range of needs.
