Primary Teacher Job - SEN School - Hinckley

Hays is working in partnership with a reputable SEN school in Hinckley to find a teacher for long-term cover starting from September. This role is ideal for a teacher with experience teaching primary-aged pupils with additional needs, including Autism (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Your new role

As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, sensory-focused lessons to primary-aged pupils with a range of needs, including Autism and ADHD. The school offers a bespoke, pupil-centred curriculum for pupils aged 5 - 11. Working with Hays, you will receive ongoing support from your consultant, Hollie, who will help you find placements suited to your skills and preferences.

What you need to succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience teaching in a SEND environment
  • A passion for taking on challenges and adapting to new situations
  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities
  • Confidence to support pupils with a range of needs in a new school environment
