A specialist SEMH School in Hereford is seeking a confident and committed SEN Teacher to join their team from October on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. The school supports pupils across KS1 to KS4 and places a strong emphasis on trauma-informed approaches and thematic learning to help pupils develop the confidence, resilience, and self-regulation skills they need to succeed.
This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who has previously worked within an SEN, SEMH, specialist, or similar educational setting. Planning is included within this role, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of their teaching and create engaging, accessible lessons that reflect the individual needs of the pupils. The school also provides regular internal training around trauma-informed practice and SEMH, supporting staff to continually develop their understanding and approach.
