Job description

Full-Time SEND Teacher – SEND School – Sutton

We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Sutton, supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviours. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role Details:
  • Location: Sutton
  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Setting: SEND school supporting students with a range of additional needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviours.
  • Create a positive and structured learning environment that supports both academic and personal development.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to ensure student progress.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support students' engagement and well-being.
Requirements:
  • QTS or equivalent is essential.
  • Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for supporting young people in a specialist setting.
