Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is recruiting dedicated SEN teachers to work in primary and secondary SEN settings in Billericay. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs and adapt content for diverse abilities.

Qualified teachers with QTS or PGCE are encouraged to apply, with experience or strong interest in SEN education. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support EHCP targets in long-term placements.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in SEN education (primary or secondary)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
• Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
• Implement and follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Support positive behaviour management strategies across the classroom

Role Overview

We are working with a range of SEN schools in Billericay (primary and secondary settings) who are looking for dedicated SEN Teachers to join their teams immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Candidate Requirements
