Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other needs across Lincoln's local schools. This is a rewarding role for those passionate about making a difference in education.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to help create a safe, inclusive learning environment. DBS checks and own transport are beneficial for some placements.

Qualifications

• SEN experience (school, care, youth work or similar) preferred.
• Team Teach, Makaton, PECS or similar training is highly desirable.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to drive and access to your own car as some schools can't be reached by public transport.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Helping implement behaviour and learning support plans.
