TeacherActive is supporting a primary SEND school in Northfield, Birmingham, rated Good by OFSTED. The role is temporary with potential to become long term for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. You will support primary pupils with PMLD/SLD and work closely with the class teacher to tailor support and promote engagement.
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable, with experience in PMLD/SLD, and strong behaviour management, patience and teamwork are valued traits.

Salary: £90 - £105 per day

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis, with the potential to become long term for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting primary aged pupils with mixed needs, working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, manage behaviours, and encourage engagement in learning.
