Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant in Northampton to support pupils with diverse SEND needs on a flexible, day-to-day basis.

You will work closely with class teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment and ensure all students can access the curriculum at their own pace. Role requires experience with SEND and childcare settings, with a DBS update service or willingness to apply for a new check.

Qualifications

• SEND experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience in educational, care, or youth settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND.
• Assist teachers in creating inclusive, safe learning environments.
• Help students engage with curriculum and access learning at their pace.
• Support individual behavior plans and promote positive behavior management.
