Job summary

Aspire People is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply across Birmingham. The roles involve supporting pupils with complex needs in specialist SEND settings, including PMLD, SLD and ASD.

Duties include 1:1 or small-group support, helping with learning, communication and independence, and assisting with personal and intimate care as required. We welcome applicants with experience as TAs, LSAs, care workers or residential staff who are confident working with young people with

Aspire People are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply work across Birmingham.

We have regular opportunities within specialist SEND schools supporting pupils with complex needs, PMLD, SLD, ASD, physical disabilities and personal care requirements.

The role may involve:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Supporting learning, communication and independence
• Personal care and intimate care
• Supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs
• Assisting with mobility, eating and other daily routines where required
• Working alongside teachers and other support staff

We're keen to hear from experienced TAs, LSAs, support workers, care workers and residential staff who are confident working with children or young people with additional needs.

You must be reliable, adaptable and available for day-to-day supply work.
