TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a Nottinghamshire setting. The role offers day-to-day supply with potential long-term opportunities, immediate start and a welcoming team focused on inclusion and progress.

You will work closely with carers and teachers to foster confidence, independence and love of learning, especially for pupils with Autism and ADHD, using positive behaviour support strategies and calm, patient communication.

Formación

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Knowledge of Autism and ADHD.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team. Day-to-day supply and potential long-term opportunities are available.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Knowledge or experience of Autism and ADHD
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• An understanding of positive behaviour support
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• A good understanding of safeguarding
