Job summary

Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant (TA2) to support pupils with special educational needs. You will work with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies, promote independence and aid social-emotional development in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
A relevant qualification in teaching, learning support, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement learning strategies for children with varying needs.
Support students with learning, daily routines, emotional regulation and social interactions to foster independence.
Use structured interventions to enhance learning and engagement in class.
Differentiate lesson plans and resources to ensure active participation and progress.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to inform future planning and support.
