Job summary

Abbey Park Primary School in Pershore, Worcestershire, is hiring a Teaching Assistant (TA2/TA3) to start ASAP. The role is permanent, 32 hours and 5 minutes per week during term time plus 5 TED days, with a Special Needs Allowance.

The successful candidate will support KS1 pupils, working closely with teachers to promote inclusion and learning. Applications close 10 September 2026; interviews 18 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support children academically and pastorally to overcome barriers to learning.
• Assist teachers and other professionals in KS1 to deliver engaging lessons.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
