Job summary

Justteachers Ltd. is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term position at a friendly primary school in Liversedge.

The role focuses on providing targeted support to pupils with SEND within a warm, nurturing environment and opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidate. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to implement individual learning plans and help pupils access learning, while promoting positive behaviour and development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting.
• Knowledge of ASD, ADHD, SEMH or SLCN is desirable.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting.
• Knowledge of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) is desirable.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
