Job summary

Justteachers is recruiting a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a primary school in Dewsbury. The school is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment and strong support for pupils with additional needs.

A permanent opportunity is available for the right candidate. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, help pupils access learning, and implement individual learning and behaviour support plans.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting.
• Knowledge of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language difficulties is desirable.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
