Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting Learning Mentors for a primary school in BS11 to gain varied SEND experience across mainstream classes and the specialist SEND provision.

Placements include Nursery and dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with behavioural needs, with opportunities to work in the specialist resource base. Full-time and part-time placements are available, subject to qualifications and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Previous school or SEN support experience required.
• Two years of references required.
• Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service required.
• All applicants must have the appropriate qualifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Support children in Nursery and Year 3 with varying needs.
• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with behavioural needs when required.
• Work within mainstream classes and the school's specialist SEND provision.
• Engage with the school's specialist resource base to develop SEN experience.
