Job summary

The Olive School, Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils. You will help learners access the curriculum and develop learning potential, including working with pupils one-to-one, in small groups, and with whole classes.

Ideal candidates will hold NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent, have experience with children in school settings and SEND, and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils and staff across Star Academies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• Experience of working with children with SEND.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Ability to support pupils one-to-one, in small groups and with the whole class.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils to enable learning.
• Support learning and teaching across the classroom.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils and adults across the school and Star Academies.
