Job description

Axcis Education is working with a fantastic mainstream secondary school in the Altrincham area, seeking a full-time SEND support assistant to start in September 2024. This is a long-term role, working Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. For the right candidate, this could lead to a permanent position. The school is an over-subscribed 11-18 Academy located in the pleasant South Manchester suburbs of Timperley. It offers a supportive environment with a talented staff team.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with children (preferably in a school setting) or vulnerable adults with SEND or SEMH needs.
2. Understanding of behaviour management.
3. Strong work ethic and full-time availability.
