We’re working with a lively, forward-thinking primary school in Sheffield that’s looking for a brilliant Learning Support Assistant to join their vibrant SEND team. You’ll be joining a warm, collaborative group of professionals—many with backgrounds in creative arts or psychology—who are committed to building a fun, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Supporting children with SEND across the school day—including playtime and lunch
Helping pupils build confidence in communication, play, social interaction and motor skills
Working closely with specialists and teachers to deliver tailored interventions
Guiding individual and small group sessions, and supporting pupils in class
Bringing energy, creativity and patience into every moment
Experience working with children aged 3–10, especially those with learning or behavioural needs
OR a background in creative fields (acting, music, art) with a real interest in education
A resilient, positive outlook and a cracking sense of humour
Strong English and Maths skills (EYFS to KS2 level)
A team spirit and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, joyful school day
A full-time, term-time-only role with the potential to go permanent
Opportunities to work flexibly if needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
