Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND Support Staff to work across Heritage High School and Springwell Community College in Chesterfield, through our exclusive partnership with the Two Counties Trust.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, Support Workers, Youth Workers, and individuals with experience supporting young people to make a real difference within a secondary school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people; SEND experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, resilient, and approachable with a positive attitude.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion in a secondary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support students with additional needs to access learning and develop confidence.
• Foster positive relationships in the classroom and support behaviour management.
• Collaborate with school staff to provide consistent and holistic support across learning activities.

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND Support Staff to work across Heritage High School and Springwell Community College through our exclusive partnership with the Two Counties Trust. To be eligible, you must:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
