Job summary

SENse Learning seeks Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners in home, school, or community settings across the UK. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with ongoing hiring and interview arrangements as applications arrive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required.
• UK-based with the right to work, including remote/online engagements.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with a range of needs.
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid support to SEND/SEMH learners.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
