Quantum Scholars in Wells, Somerset is seeking a patient, experienced SEND/SEMH Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
The role focuses on building positive relationships, adapting lessons and strategies to individual academic, emotional and behavioural needs, and supporting learners who may struggle with anxiety, disengagement or traditional learning environments.

Quantum Scholars are looking for a patient, supportive and experienced SEND/SEMH Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support to young people in Wells.
The successful tutor will have experience supporting children and young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs and be confident adapting their teaching and support to meet individual academic, emotional and behavioural needs. Experience supporting learners who may struggle with emotional regulation, engagement or traditional learning environments would be highly desirable.
The role will focus on building positive relationships, helping learners overcome barriers to education and supporting them to develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning. A calm, consistent and flexible approach will be essential.
Experience supporting young people who display challenging behaviour, experience anxiety, school avoidance or disengagement from education would be particularly beneficial.
This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.
