Quantum Scholars is seeking a supportive SEND Tutor to work across Somerset on an in-person basis. You will provide personalised one-to-one or small-group tuition to learners with SEND and SEMH needs, helping them build confidence, engagement and independence.
Based in Somerset, the role involves planning engaging lessons, adapting approaches to individual learning needs, maintaining safeguarding standards, and collaborating with parents and other professionals to support learners’ progress.

Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive, patient and experienced SEND Tutor to work with children and young people across Somerset. This is an in-person tutoring opportunity and is not an online role.
The role involves providing personalised educational support to learners who may have additional needs and benefit from a flexible, individualised approach to education. You will build positive and trusting relationships with learners, adapt your teaching to meet their individual needs and help them develop their confidence, engagement and independence.
The successful tutor will be able to create engaging and accessible learning experiences while remaining flexible to each learner's pace, interests, abilities and needs. Experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs, or those who have found mainstream education challenging would be particularly beneficial.
