Quantum Scholars is seeking a patient, supportive SEND/SEMH Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support to young people in Wells, Somerset. The role is in-person and requires experience with SEND/SEMH and adapting teaching to individual needs.
You will build positive relationships, support emotional regulation, and help learners engage with English, Maths, Science or other subjects. A calm, flexible approach and commitment to safeguarding are essential.

Quantum Scholars are looking for a patient, supportive and experienced SEND/SEMH Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support to young people in Wells.
The successful tutor will have experience supporting children and young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs and be confident adapting their teaching and support to meet individual academic, emotional and behavioural needs. Experience supporting learners who may struggle with emotional regulation, engagement or traditional learning environments would be highly desirable.
The role will focus on building positive relationships, helping learners overcome barriers to education and supporting them to develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning. A calm, consistent and flexible approach will be essential.
Experience supporting young people who display challenging behaviour, experience anxiety, school avoidance or disengagement from education would be particularly beneficial.
This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.
