Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Maintenance Worker to help keep our school buildings and grounds in excellent condition in Shustoke. You’ll perform general repairs, maintain school vehicles, and ensure the grounds look tidy while engaging with pupils in a friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Have some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general, day-to-day repairs to keep the school running.
• Drive school vehicles and keep them in good working order.
• Keep the school grounds and garden neat and tidy.
• Be a familiar, friendly face to pupils, with safeguarding training provided.
• Support a positive environment and health & safety compliance.
