Job summary

Suffolk County Council is seeking a Senior Transformation Manager to provide strategic leadership to Suffolk's SEND reform programme. You will drive system-wide reform across education, health, social care and families, ensuring delivery plans, governance and inspection readiness.

The role includes line management of the SEND reform team and close collaboration with partners to secure shared ownership. The post focuses on delivering outcomes that improve experiences and outcomes for children,

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation and improvement programmes.
• Expert programme management, governance and delivery skills.
• Strong SEND leadership experience and knowledge of statutory frameworks.
• Excellent partnership-building, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly developed analytical, reporting and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Suffolk's SEND Reform Transformation Programme with clear plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Provide robust programme governance and assurance, managing risks and reporting.
• Build multi-agency partnerships across education, health, social care, schools, families and the voluntary and community sector.
• Use data, intelligence and stakeholder feedback to monitor performance and drive improvement.
• Provide leadership and direct line management to the SEND reform programme team.
