Job summary

Aspire People is seeking SEND Primary Teachers for opportunities across Liverpool. Join a supportive agency delivering flexible day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent roles in specialist schools and SEND provisions.

The role focuses on inclusive, engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and/or 2 pupils with diverse needs, working closely with school teams to support learning and development.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and/or 2.
• Experience supporting children with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Caring, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils.
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists and school teams.
• Monitor pupil progress and celebrate achievements.
• Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning.
