Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a SEND Teacher for a vibrant primary special school in Radcliffe. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, support pupils with SEND and Autism, and work with families and professionals to raise outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or is an ECT, with warmth, resilience and a love of learning. A collaborative team player, you will contribute to school life and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Experience or passion for working with pupils with SEND and Autism.
  • Warm, patient, resilient and nurturing.
  • Creative and enthusiastic in teaching.
  • Organised and committed to high teaching standards.
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Committed to inclusion and improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons meeting individual needs.
  • Support pupils with SEND, including Autism.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Develop positive relationships with pupils, parents and professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
  • Promote independence, confidence and a love of learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development.
