Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a SEND Teacher to join a Bolton school for Year 3/4 pupils. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and adapt the curriculum for learners with additional needs.

The role involves collaboration with TAs, monitoring progress, and supporting academic and social development. Strong QTS and SEN experience are essential, with a focus on safeguarding and building trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Has QTS or relevant teaching qualification and experience with SEND.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally KS2.
• Able to differentiate lessons and manage behaviour effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support pupils in a Year 3/4 SEND setting.
• Plan differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.

SEND Year 3/4 Teacher - Bolton

Location: BL1, Bolton

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, Full Time

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term / Potential Permanent Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a welcoming school in BL1, Bolton, supporting pupils within a Year 3/4 SEND provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who has experience supporting children with additional needs and is confident creating an inclusive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

The Role

• Teach and support pupils within a Year 3/4 SEND setting.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
• Adapt the curriculum to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Implement appropriate behaviour and learning strategies.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments and EHCP targets where required.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Work closely with parents, carers and external professionals where appropriate.
• Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

About You

• Has QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
• Has experience working with children with SEND.
• Has experience teaching within a primary setting, ideally KS2.
• Is confident adapting lessons and differentiating learning.
• Has strong behaviour management skills.
• Is patient, caring and consistent in their approach.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Is reliable, professional and committed to safeguarding.
• Can start ASAP.
