Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Bolton (BL1) is seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on a full-time basis. You will support pupils across EYFS and KS1 with high-quality classroom assistance and targeted SEND support.

The role requires experience in EYFS/KS1, ability to support phonics and early reading, and a patient, nurturing approach to help pupils develop independence and confidence. You will collaborate closely with teachers and the wider support team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant experience.
• Previous experience working within EYFS and/or KS1.
• Confident supporting pupils with SEND.
• Patient, proactive and nurturing in their approach.
• Able to build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Reliable and committed to a full-time role.

Pay: £14.25-£17.00 per hour

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL1) on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work across EYFS and KS1, providing high-quality classroom support alongside targeted SEND support for pupils who require additional assistance with their learning, communication, behaviour and development.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1
• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEND support
• Assisting with phonics, early reading and other interventions
• Supporting pupils' learning, development and independence
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
