Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is recruiting a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL1) on a full-time basis. The role will support pupils across EYFS and KS1, providing targeted SEND assistance and helping with phonics and early reading.

You will work closely with the class teacher and support team to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment and build strong relationships with children and staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant experience.
• Experience in EYFS and KS1.
• Confident in supporting SEND pupils.
• Patient, proactive and nurturing.

Responsibilities

Pay: 14.25- 17.00 per hour

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL1) on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work across EYFS and KS1, providing high-quality classroom support alongside targeted SEND support for pupils who require additional assistance with their learning, communication, behaviour and development.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1
• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEND support
• Assisting with phonics, early reading and other interventions
• Supporting pupils' learning, development and independence
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
• Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant experience
• Previous experience working within EYFS and/or KS1
• Confident supporting pupils with SEND
• Patient, proactive and nurturing in their approach
• Able to build positive relationships with children and staff
• Reliable and committed to a full-time role
