Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant for a dedicated SEND school in Northeast London. You will support pupils across Key Stages with Autism/ASD, SLD and challenging behaviours, bringing a patient and nurturing approach to everyday learning.

This short-term role has potential to extend, with CPD opportunities, market-leading pay, and 24/7 consultant support to help you settle quickly into the team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities.
• Experience with students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
• Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across all Key Stages with autism/ASD and other needs.
• Foster a patient and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist teachers with behavioural and educational strategies.
