TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA to support students in a Northeast London setting. Immediate start with a payroll via PAYE and potential for longer placement.
You will work with pupils across all Key Stages who have Autism/ASD, SLD and challenging behaviours, requiring proactive, patient and nurturing approaches. The role may start short-term with potential for extension.

The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children's individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
