Worcestershire County Council is seeking a Local Offer Co-ordinator to lead the ongoing development, review and maintenance of Worcestershire’s SEND Local Offer. You will work with education, health, social care and community partners to ensure accessible information for families and practitioners.

The role requires strong SEND knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.

Formación

• Significant experience of working with children and young people with SEND and their families.
• Experience of working in a SEND, education, information, or family support setting.
• Strong understanding of the SEND system and the information needs of families.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible content.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate development and maintenance of the SEND Local Offer.
• Work with services and partners to keep information accurate, accessible and up to date.
• Gather feedback from children, young people, parent carers and practitioners.
• Support engagement activity, roadshows and communication campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with community networks and trusted representatives to reach families who may be less likely to use SEND information.
• Use feedback, analytics and partnership intelligence to identify gaps and improvements.
• Support the development of the Local Inclusion Support online resource.
• Report on progress, impact, engagement activity and improvement actions.
