Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream, SEND and SEMH settings in Telford and Shropshire.

You will support pupils with SEND, including autism and global delay, in one-to-one or small groups, and contribute to safeguarding and welfare. DBS checks and compliance are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is essential.
• Experience with Autism, global delay, communication difficulties and/or SEMH/behaviours that challenge.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain.
• You must have worked in the UK for at least 5 months.
• Positive, professional and flexible approach.

Telford & Shropshire Mainstream & Specialist SEND Schools

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people and making a real, positive difference in their lives?

We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work across a range of mainstream schools, specialist SEND settings and SEMH provisions throughout Telford and Shropshire.

? The Role

You could be supporting children and young people one-to-one or in small groups, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and achieve their potential.

We are looking for individuals with experience supporting children and young people with:

• SEND / additional needs
• Autism / ASD
• Global developmental delay
• Communication and language difficulties
• SEMH needs
• Behaviours that challenge
• Complex or additional learning needs

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children/young people with SEND
• Experience with Autism, global delay, communication difficulties and/or behaviours that challenge

• You must have worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 months
• A positive, professional and flexible approach
