Job summary

Voyage Education Partnership is seeking a dedicated classroom support assistant in the United Kingdom to work alongside teachers and the SENCO. You will help pupils access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive socially and emotionally.

You will support lessons, assist students individually or in small groups, and prepare resources. The role requires safeguarding awareness, DBS checks, and adherence to UK GDPR guidance. GCSEs in Maths/English at grade C/4 or equivalent are expected.

Qualifications

• Assist pupils with learning and access to the curriculum.
• Support inclusive practices for pupils with SEND and EHCPs.
• Foster independence and positive social-emotional development.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents when required.
