Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a Gloucestershire school. You will support students with SEND, including Autism and ADHD, delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group assistance while collaborating with staff to meet EHCP targets.

The role requires resilience, patience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education, with costs for DBS processing managed by the employer where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting young people with SEND, especially Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or physical disabilities.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour with calmness and empathy.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support students effectively.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and provide references.

Aufgaben

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs and EHCP targets.
• Adapt learning materials and teaching approaches to diverse styles and needs.
• Support development of communication, emotional regulation, confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and SENDCo to implement effective support strategies.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment throughout the day.
• Supervise students during breaks and lunches, ensuring wellbeing and inclusion.
