Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work closely with teachers and the wider school team, providing high-quality support to pupils with SEND both inside and outside the classroom. You will help create a safe, nurturing learning environment and support pupils to develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.

The role is full-time during term time from September 2026. Experience with autism or complex learning needs is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to access learning inside and outside the classroom.
• Deliver tailored interventions under the direction of the class teacher.

• Assist with personal care where required, with dignity and respect.
• Record observations and contribute to pupil progress monitoring.
