Job summary

Dovetail and Slate in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Learning Manager - SEND to lead the day-to-day delivery of SEND and additional learning support for learners in a further education setting. You will manage and develop a team of learning support staff, work closely with curriculum colleagues and act as a key contact for families, local authorities and external professionals.

Experience leading SEND or inclusive learning provision within further education.
Strong knowledge of EHCPs, High Needs funding and SEND legislation.
Experience of managing or developing a team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day delivery of SEND and additional learning support provision.
Manage, develop and support learning support staff.
Oversee support plans, learner reviews and EHCP processes.
Liaise with parents, carers, local authorities and external agencies.
Work with curriculum teams to ensure support is appropriate and effective.
Monitor learner progress, attendance and outcomes to drive improvement.
