Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd. is seeking a Learning Manager - SEND to lead the day-to-day delivery of provision for learners with special educational needs and disabilities at a further education provider in the West Midlands.

You will manage a team of support staff, collaborate with curriculum colleagues and act as a key contact for families, local authorities and external professionals, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND, supported learning or additional learning support provision.
• Knowledge of EHCPs, High Needs funding and SEND legislation.
• Experience of managing or developing a team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of SEND provision.
• Manage, develop and support learning support staff.
• Oversee support plans, learner reviews and EHCP processes.
• Liaise with parents, carers, local authorities and external agencies.
• Work with curriculum teams to ensure effective support.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance and outcomes.
• Ensure provision meets SEND legislation, funding requirements and policies.
