Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is recruiting an experienced FE curriculum manager to lead its SEND and Foundation Learning provision. You will oversee teaching quality, learner outcomes and continual curriculum improvement.

You will line-manage staff, coordinate timetables, monitor progress and work with parents and external agencies to support learners with EHCPs and complex needs. A strong track record in quality improvement and FE performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Curriculum management experience within further education.
• Experience leading SEND, Foundation Learning or Supported Learning provision.
• Experience managing and developing teaching staff.
• A full teaching qualification.
• Experience supporting learners with EHCPs and complex needs.
• Strong understanding of quality improvement and FE performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the SEND and Foundation Learning curriculum area.
• Line managing, supporting and developing teaching staff.
• Driving improvements in recruitment, retention, attendance, achievement and progression.
• Leading curriculum planning, quality assurance and improvement activity.
• Monitoring learner progress, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Managing curriculum resources, staffing and timetabling.
• Working with parents, carers and external agencies to support learners.
• Using data and key performance indicators to drive improvement.
