Job summary

Axcis Education is recruiting an experienced SEND Teacher to support a KS3 cohort at a Birmingham SEND school. The role runs Monday to Friday during term time, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a daily pay rate starting at £160.

The successful candidate will teach a KS3 class with complex needs and autism, differentiating work to meet diverse abilities while liaising with SENCOs, staff and parents to monitor pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children with SEND.
• Strong inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation.
• Caring, patient and nurturing with positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS3 class with complex needs and autism.
• Tailor, plan and differentiate tasks for varied abilities.
• Provide inclusive classroom support.
• Collaborate with staff, SENCOs and parents to track pupil progress.
