Aspire People, in partnership with a Hinckley school, is seeking an Interventions Assistant to support pupils with SEND. You will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted, one-to-one and small-group interventions, helping pupils access the curriculum and build confidence. The role requires patience and a proactive, empathetic approach.

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a daily rate of £105 and ongoing support from

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for building relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver tailored one-to-one and small-group interventions to support pupils with SEND.
• Work with teachers to implement individual learning strategies and help pupils access the curriculum.
• Support children with diverse needs including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and SEMH.
• Encourage pupils to develop independence, confidence, communication and social skills.
• Help pupils manage emotions and behaviour through positive, consistent approaches.
• Monitor pupil engagement and progress, maintain records and provide feedback to staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to ensure appropriate support.
• Adapt activities to suit individual learning styles and needs.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment and safeguarding.
