Job summary

Aspire People are partnering with a Hinckley school to appoint a caring SEN Teaching Assistant. The role focuses on supporting children with additional needs both in and out of the classroom, helping them engage with learning and feel settled.

Experience with children is essential; SEN experience is helpful but not required. A DBS is required or willingness to obtain one. Monday to Friday, full-time, £105 per day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• Ability to support pupils with SEN and additional needs.
• Desirable qualification such as Level 2/3 Childcare, Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification.
• DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children with additional needs in and out of the classroom.
• Help learners engage with their learning and build confidence.
• Develop trusting relationships with children and school staff.
