Job summary

Manor High School is seeking an exceptional Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support our SEND intervention programme. Working with the SENCO and Deputy SENCO, you will lead literacy, language and numeracy interventions, monitor progress and adapt provision to meet identified needs.

You will work independently with pupils and small groups, contribute to whole-school inclusion and help secure positive outcomes for pupils with SEND, with a focus on developing communication and language skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate interventions.
• Strong communication and collaborative working with SENCO.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate literacy, language and numeracy interventions.
• Teach and supervise individual pupils and small groups.
• Assess and record pupil progress and report to SENCO.
• Work with teachers and external professionals to support learning.
• Promote inclusive teaching strategies and reasonable adjustments.
• Support reintegration into mainstream lessons.
• Contribute to review and evaluation of SEND provision.
• Undertake additional responsibilities including Teaching Assistant duties.
