Job summary

St Mary Queen of Martyrs VC Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Achievement Support Assistant (L2 TA) to support teaching and learning, focusing on our most vulnerable pupils including those with SEND and/or Social, Emotional needs.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 2 training days, working across the school to support pupils’ social, emotional and academic progress. You will deliver interventions, support staff, and help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will work across the school giving appropriate support for pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND.
• Support teaching staff with the children’s social, emotional and academic progress, delivering interventions to enhance learning.
• Provide supervision and care of children at various times of the day.
