Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in an inclusion room at a Warrington primary school. You will support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD and SEMH, providing consistent, structured assistance throughout the day.

The role is full-time, with a focus on 1:1 and small-group support, implementing behaviour strategies and collaborating with teachers and the SENDCo to promote emotional regulation and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND settings.
• Calm, patient and consistent approach.
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils.
• Confident managing challenging behaviour.
• Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.
